Smokin' the Water
One of Tennessee's longest running July 4th Events with BBQ Cook Off, Music, Food, Kid Rides, Car Show, and Largest Fireworks Show In East Tennessee on the 4th.
We are hosting our second annual BBQ Cook-Off. We will judge the best Ribs, Brisgue, and Chicken. Cash Prizes for First, Second, and Third. Cook on Site and sell during the Smokin the Water Event.
Make plans to build and participate in Homemade RAFT RACE . Challenge Businesses, Elected Officials, Church Groups, etc.
Rules for the Race
1. Raft must be homemade no commercial water craft
2. Total minimum size including down riggers and pontoons must be at least 4' x 8' area
3. Must have at least 3 person crew
4. All crew members must wear life jackets
5. Raft must have an anchor
6. Raft must have a 50' tow rope
7. Raft must be powered by paddle, paddle wheel, or sail, (no motorized propulsion of any kind)
8. All fasteners points must not exposed to damage other rafts

4:30 p.m. Dixie Highway Band Performs (city park stage)
Homemade Raft Race (city park boat ramp)
