- Food and refreshments
- Family-friendly games and activities
- A special guest speaker with a powerful story of hope and healing
- Opportunities to connect, learn, and reflect
Observed globally on August 31, International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest campaign to end overdose. It aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or suffered permanent injury due to drug overdose.
Let’s stand together to prevent overdose, support healing, and build a stronger, healthier Roane County.
We hope to see you there!
Please contact McKayla Gallaher, Kristy Bentley, or Caitlin Pedigo if you plan to participate as a provider, or contact Roane County United Way to participate as a sponsor.
