Tackling the Hidden Costs of Worker and Workplace Instability
Presented by John Leitnaker, Roane County Cooperative Ministries
Many entry-level and low-wage employees often live in a “tyranny of the moment” created by daily instability, and this results in absenteeism, high turnover rates, reduced productivity – in short, Workplace Instability.
Each employee who leaves the workplace takes along thousands of dollars in lost profitability and leaves the business to pay the cost of finding and training a replacement. When low-wage employees’ lives are unpredictable and unstable, it is unlikely that they will stay with one company for long.
Join John Leitnaker and learn the answers to:
- What does instability cost?
- What does instability look like?
- What causes it?
- What can be done?
Don’t accept high turnover in low-wage positions as an inevitable cost. Create workplace stability by learning some solutions that can be implemented through collaboration with others, you can help stabilize your employees’ lives—and boost your profitability and competitive advantage.
