Roane County Employers Association Meeting - "Speak Up For Yourself"
"Speak Up For Yourself" presented by Norman Hammitt (Presentation/Public Speaking Consultant)
Whether you are delivering a keynote address at a conference, presenting at a business meeting, giving an impromptu speech to your colleagues or a small group, or having an important one-on-one discussion, the way you present yourself and your message is critical.
It’s not always easy to predict when these career-building “speak up” situations will occur, but with proper instruction and skills development, you can be prepared for them.
During this learning opportunity, Norman Hammitt will show you the communications tools any speaker can use to put a “polish” on their speaking style and presentation.
Join Norman for lunch and you’ll learn:
- The 3 P’s of Good Public Speaking
- Turn Fear and Anxiety into Motivating Influences
- The “mathematics” of quality presentations
- Leverage the knowledge that more than 90% of communication is non-verbal
- Engage your audience by being an inclusive, audience-centered speaker
