Roane Chamber Launches New Website

ROANE COUNTY, TN – For many years, the Roane County Chamber of Commerce has been working to offer new ways to grow area businesses. Over the past year, one of those ways is through a newly-designed more interactive website, providing more opportunity for members and the community to engage in ways never before possible.

In July, 2014 the Chamber began working with MicroNet, Inc., the leading provider of online solutions for member-based associations and chambers.  ChamberMaster, one product of MicroNet, is a program the Roane County Chamber now uses to assist in day to day for operations and to help increase benefits for Chamber members. MicroNet currently serves over 2,000 nonprofit organizations.
From the beginning, ChamberMaster has been able to provide a much needed benefit to the Chamber staff for billing and database management, and now it will provide added exposure and benefits to Chamber members through the Member Information Center.  Now members can directly update their online information in real-time, posting sales and special offers, job openings and share upcoming event information.  It also provides a way to network with other members by providing a new integrated database that tracks and streamlines the communication process among all Chamber members.

“With the dependence our society has on digital communication, the way the Chamber serves its members must also change.  We believe that if Chamber members take advantage of this new capability, they will see gains in business through making new connections and attracting new customers with promotions and deals,” said Wade Creswell, The Roane Alliance President/CEO.
