Roane County's Field of Honor
The field at Riverfront Park will be filled with full-sized American Flags each honoring a fallen service member from Roane County.
The dedication ceremony will be at 11:00 am on November 11, 2024, at the field.
Creating an awe-inspiring panorama, U.S. flags will fly in a solemn formation at the David Webb Riverfront Park in Harriman from November 11 through November 22, 2024. This stirring display of 200 flags will bring the community together in a patriotic tribute to honor our heroes. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. This unique event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to remember and honor our many heroes.
Harriman High School softball team and the Harriman Rotary Club are working together to honor Fallen Soldiers from Roane County in the Roane County 2024 Field of Heroes.
This moving display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
We invite all to visit this patriotic display and walk with us among the posted flags. Additionally, the display will raise funds for the HHS Softball Team and the Rotary Club of Harriman.
