What Is It?
For runners of all ages, the Butterfly Run has a distance for everyone. Participants select a level of participation—they can choose the 5K, the 10K, the Family Fun Walk, or even pick one of two other options—run on your own time “virtually,” or you can sleep-in and forgo the running all together. Regardless of your preference, every mile completed and every dollar raised means thousands of East Tennessee children receive the health care they need.
This year's run benefits the Pain and Palliative Care program at Children's Hospital. Dealing with medical condition is tough, which is why pain and palliative care helps relieve the symptoms of a condition, rather than the condition itself. Our Pain and Palliative care team help patients improve their quality of life during their battle with their illness.
