DESCRIPTION:City of Rockwood and Rockwood Parks & Rec. Presents Rockwood's Inaugural Labor Day Celebration - Rockin the Ramp \n\n\n\nAfter several years of consideration\, Rockwood Mayor Mike "Brillo" Miller has decided it is time for the city to move forward with a Labor Day Celebration.  Rockin the Ramp is planned to become an annual event.  "We have worked so hard for so long on the Rockwood Marina.  Now that is happening right before our eyes\, we feel it is the time to start an annual celebration!  Labor Day weekend is appropriate\, as we can also celebrate our hard working men and women who make our city prosper every day." said Miller.\n\n\n\nThe annual event will be held each year at Tom Fuller Park on Sunday afternoon (beginning at 1:00 pm) prior to Labor Day Monday.\n\n\n\nThe festivities will include food trucks\, vendors\, live music\, kids play zone\, water activities\, corn hole and fireworks!  Potential sponsors\, musicians\, vendors and other interested parties are encouraged to email all questions to rockintheramp@cityofrockwood.com or call Rockwood City Hall at 865-354-0611.  \n\n\n\nThe musical line up includes: Dudley Freels\, Ben Briley\, former American Idol contestant\, Ethan Lively from The Voice and the Main Event: The Fairview Union. Live music begins at 3 pm.\n\n\n\nWECO Radio 101.3F M Live Remote 1-3 pm\n\n\n\nPlease join us and bring your family to enjoy Rockwood's Labor Day Celebration.
