DESCRIPTION:"Understanding Financial Statements:  What every business owner needs to know."\n\n\n\nPresented by Floyd Ostrowski\, PMP\, SCORE Consultant\n\n\n\nThe workshop gives a basic overview of the three most critical financial statements:\n\n	Income Statement\n	Balance Sheet\n	Cash Flow Statement\n\nWe will walk through a retail wine shop's statements to show how the Income Statement connects to the Balance Sheet and how both feed into the State of Cash Flows.  This is a non-technical workshop focused on understanding the statements\, not creating them. The intended audience is small business owners who want a better understanding of their financials.  \n\nThis workshop is NOT intended for accounting professionals. \n\n\n\nFloyd Ostrowski is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professor of Practice\, University of Tennessee Tickle College of Engineering.  He brings over 40-years of industry experience at a Senior Management level.  Floyd earned a BA in Business from Antioch University and a MS in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University.  He has been profiled in an Operations Strategy case study by Harvard University Business School.
