DESCRIPTION:Coming to the Historic Princess Theatre Friday\, June 30\, 2023\, will be The Roane County Opry similar to The Grand Ole Opry.  This will be a 3-hour Show\, featuring classic Country\, Pop\, Jazz and Country Gospel Music.   Dudley Evans also performing\, will be hosting the event and we will be helping our friends at Family Promise Roane County\, a homeless prevention\, shelter\, diversion and stabilization service in Roane County\, directed by Charles Elmore.\n\n\n\nPerforming in the show will be Bill Wright and the Saturday Night in The GroveBand\, local country music singer Trent James\, from Knoxville Roy Poole doing his Tribute to Frank Sinatra\, local artist Carl (Fried Chicken) Curtis and Special Guest Roane County's own the Temper Evans Band.\n\n\n\nTicket sales at the door will be a donation of $10.  Proceeds from the Opry will go to assist kids being placed in shelter through Family Promise of Roane County Agency\, which is a 501-c3 organization.
