DESCRIPTION:Nuclear Energy Discovery Day - May 11\, 2024\n\n\n\nThe American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) Foundation along with presenting partner\, Kairos Power\, are inviting you to celebrate the first Nuclear Energy Discovery Day on Saturday\, May 11\, 2024 from 12 pm to 3 pm.\n\n\n\nThe culmination of Oak Ridge's first Nuclear Fusion Week\, this family focused effort will feature presenters from across the industry represented in East Tennessee.\n\n\n\nGuests will be provided with a "passport" as they enter the museum and will be encouraged to explore the museum and a host of booths sharing\, teaching\, highlighting and engaging the new world of nuclear technology.  Guests will be able to trade a completed passport for a prize.\n\n\n\nWith guests and speakers from across the growing field of nuclear energy will be presenting the latest in nuclear innovation.   Keynote speaker will be CTO and co-founder of Kairos Power\, Ed Blandford.\n\n\n\nEast Tennessee is situated in the heart of the burgeoning "Nuclear Renaissance"\, so please join us as we help inform and educate our community and the region about the incredible opportunities in the world of nuclear energy.  \n\n\n\nThis event is included with a regular admission ticket.
